"The 2019 de Pressac has a very intense and concentrated bouquet with layers of macerated black cherries, crème de cassis and violet aromas that threaten to overwhelm the senses. The palate is medium-bodied with saturate tannins that lend this a fleshy mouthfeel. The fruit is pure and that is an almost sorbet-like sweetness and freshness on the seductive finish. I suspect it will be just as seductive once in bottle."

"I'm not sure the 2019 Château De Pressac will match the 2018, but it's certainly in the ballpark, offering a beautiful core of black raspberry, cassis, and mulled red fruits as well as notes of smoked herbs, chocolate, and flowery incense. Spicy, medium to full-bodied, exceedingly elegant, and balanced, it’s a wonderful, layered 2019 that will have plenty of upfront appeal yet evolve nicely for 15+ years."

Cette rigueur dresse les tanins du vin qui s'appuient sur une mâche parfaite, l'extraction sensible des fruits de merlot, cabernets franc et sauvignon et même carménère et malbec. "Deep inky damson in colour, fairly closed on the nose although it opens up after a few minutes in the glass. It has soft tannins and this is packed with well expressed blueberry and raspberry fruit, clear spice and a black pepper spike through the finish. Always an enjoyale wine, with touches of both Carmenère (2%) and Malbec (1%) . 65 % new oak. A yield of 40 hl/ha.

Bouche moelleuse et fondante à souhait, avec de l'éclat dans le goût, de la présence et de la minutie dans la texture tannique. Finale aromatique, sèveuse et sans angle. Bonne longueur. Assemblage original de 77 % merlot, 11 % cabernet sauvignon, 9 % cabernet franc, 2 % carmenère, 1 % malbec. Rendement : 40 hl/ha. 2025 – 2038."
