Assemblage de deux terroirs complémentaires (argilo-calcaire, graves pyrénéennes) le Château Fourcas Hosten 2008 offre l’équilibre gourmand d’un fruit croquant en attaque et d’une bouche complexe à la texture veloutée. Une trame tannique élégante et racée apporte beaucoup de finesse en finale.

Elevage : 1/3 en barriques neuves, 1/3 en barriques d'un vin et 1/3 en barriques de deux vins, sur un total de 18 mois.

Sporting a deep garnet-purple color, the 2019 Fourcas Hosten opens with cedary/oak-inspired scents, giving way to a core of baked black cherries, dried mulberries and warm cassis plus suggestions of spice cake, menthol and clove oil. Medium-bodied, the palate truly packs a punch of black fruit preserves, supported by firm, grainy tannins (with some oak contribution), finishing long and spicy.
