Le terroir : Le vignoble est situé sur un terroir de graves profondes, reposant sur un socle argilo-calcaire.

Cépages & vinification : Assemblage de 47 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 34 % Merlot, 13 % Cabernet Franc et 6 % Petit Verdot. Vendanges manuelles et vinification traditionnelle avec fermentation en cuves inox thermorégulées. Elevage de 12 mois en barriques de chêne français, dont 30 % neuves.

Very attractive, crunchy dark fruit with medium to full body and spiced, chocolatey character. Firm and structured with velvety tannins and a lingering finish. Plenty of currant and hazelnut character.

The 2022 Sénéjac is one of the best wines that this northern Médoc cru Bourgeois has produced in the last decade or two. Offering up aromas of cherries, dark berries, peonies and pencil shavings, it's medium to full-bodied, velvety and succulent, with a rich core of fruit, supple tannins and a persistent finish.
